As there always seems to be questions asked about wiring in heated grips I thought there was a need to run through the wiring in photo format for after market heated grips such as Oxford ones.
I'm not going to explain how to fit the grips onto the handlebars as that's (should be) obvious. Also, it's up to you to decide where you want the ON/OFF control etc..
Right. Here goes.First, you can either disconnect the battery or find the fuse for the heated grips and remove that.
Now, it's best to remove the fuel tank. After removing the plastic side protectors and the ones around the ignition key, this is the bolt that you're looking for both sides...

You can then prop up the tank to unhook the fuel pipe and two electrical connectors...

The tank can then be lifted off to reveal the plug for the Triumph grips which should be taped to the frame on the left hand side. It's the bigger one of the two...

It has three wires; Mauve, black & blue and has a plug in the end of it...

Remove the plug to reveal three holes...

You'll then need to get your grips kit and find the wires that they say should be connected to the battery and cut the round tabs off.

Then, in order to be able to plug the wires into the holes in the bikes connector, you need some small spade terminals like the ones in this photo...(sorry, this picture is from another job but hopefully you get the idea) Measuring the holes will tell you the size you want. From memory I think they're 2mm, terminal block spade connectors.

You're now ready to plug in your wiring. The blue wire, bike side, is switched with the ignition and the black wire is earth. So, the red on the Oxfords goes to blue and black goes to black...

Now wrap the plug completely with Self Amalgamating tape to keep out the elements.
Tidy up any excess wiring...

The Oxford kit comes with a couple of chunky sealed connector blocks. I found that they can be pushed into the space in the frame below the ignition lock.
I tried to make the fuse accessible by sticking it to the side of the frame with Velcro...

It didn't stay stuck so I just tucked inside the frame side plate.
Now reconnect the battery or replace the fuse and test everything before you put the tank back on. If it all lights up......
Replace tank and plastics and it's job done.
