Hi, I'm new to this forum and so glad I found this old thread. I currently ride a KTM Superduke R but this route was the reason I am investigating buying a Tiger 800 XCA. That, and a run-in with Gerdarmes near Saorge on the route through the Valee de Roya - the Superduke R tends to lead to trouble. I love the Alps-Maritime. You can follow that route all the way down to the Ligurian coast and I wondered if it would be possible on an Adventure Bike.

Have you returned since these posts?

I looked at going over the Col De Tende but the Alpenportal site - https://www.alpen-journal.de/alpenpaesse has it closed by a landslide on the French side..
