Tiger 800 lowering
« on: March 29, 2011, 05:13:43 AM »
Hello everybody from across the pond in Denver, Colorado USA. I'm a former Triumph owner and am coming back to the fold. I plan on getting an 800 and lowering it about an inch. Do any of you predict that performance will be adversely affected? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve.

Great decision, you won't regret it, it scores high on the grin  factor:)

I had my T800 lowered 40mm and l have not noticed any difference from when l took the demo out before Christmas.  I suppose unless you have 2 bikes side by side to test, one being lowered it would be hard to to tell the difference.

Good luck, and let us all know what you do.

You know when your getting old beacause you and your teeth do not sleep together!

Hi Steve,  :401:  :031:
Sometimes I like to squat down, put my arms around my legs and lean forward but that's just how I roll.

Greetings! I would love to visit your country and tour the countryside on my motorcycle. How are you liking your T800? I'm ordering a white one with abs today. Don't know when it will arrive. I rode my Versys to the dealership over some very rough highways. Then, rode the T800, what a difference. Take care.
