Yah, those Raspberry Pis are pretty awesome.  There's a cool kit for cars:  http://i-carus.com/

A buddy is working on a version for bikes ... the UI is an android tablet via BT.

Some very good progress this week. The schematic design is 99% complete and the PCB layout should be finished in the next few days, then another week or so to get some boards in for build & test. I'll post more photos etc when I've built & fired-up the first unit.

The board design took longer than I'd hoped because I had to make some major changes to get it all to fit, but I've now got them on order. I should see the bare boards at the end of next week then I'll set up my pick & place machine and reflow oven to build a couple and see how they look. The layout & dimensions mean they're a straight replacement for the board that's already in the Autophix OM123 unit....hopefully!!

Due to some of the design changes I can't do anything more with the firmware development until I have a fully built board to work with. I'm hoping to take one with me on the MegaMeet weekend, so I'd better get a shift on.

I also need to spend some time working out what features to put in there and how the menu structure should work. Answers on a postcard plese.... :001:
