You could change the resolution on your monitor - I have no problems seeing the image at 1440x900.

personally I prefer the photobucket 'thumbnail' image, which allows you to get the impression of the image realtively cheaply in download terms, and the select the full image if you so wish as required. its an adavantage in y books if the thread has lots if images and especially if the images are hires which theres no real need on a webpage
