Yes, I have to agree.  You do pay for it in the handling dept on pavement.  I took off today at lunch forgetting I had these on and the back end started to fishtail right around, kind of cool actually.     The back tire looks quite nice as well.  I can't wait to try them out in the dirt!

I fitted a stebel horn under the beak and did a quick measure up and there wasn't much to play with so had to tuck the horn up inside the beak cavity.

Modified SMIFFXC design slightly,

when you take the fender off you will see a plastic cover this is held in with a little plastic screw, remove this you can the line up the original bolt hole at the bottom of the fender with this and insert a 12mm M6 bolt (used button flange) makes it look a bit neater IMHO. other wise the same.

Burren Rider broke his mudguard by raising his too far. You'll have to search through this thread http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=704559 I think he worked out that on full bump there's only 8mm clearance between guard and bottom yoke as standard. So even with the 15mm of the Touratech kit you're going to hit the guard. I'm hoping that there's enough flex in the guard to accommodate the other 7mm. Any more than 15mm beware.

Might have to reduce it to 15mm. Is this tested or under development 
Because I can make it smaller and test it for us at 15mm

Can someone update on making the blueprints for raising the fender with 15mm? Is it true that if you raise it more you will have issue with the radiator?
