A quick search brings this up, including a link to the driver

tks very much again - we are making progress with com3 now seeing the obd and it connects very briefly when I press the connect button in TigerTool but then immediately loses the connection again

have unplugged and re-plugged and made sure that ignition and run switches are on but still no luck :-(

will uninstall/reinstall and try again tomorrow - time for a sundowner beer now - maybe that gives me some inspiration :-)

thank you once again for your help

Only one place fit for those included discs (if not directly the software program) and that's the bin. I never ever insert those trash loaded discs in my computer I always rely on windows to (usually) find a suitable driver.

Uninstall all PL2303 drivers, disconnect the OBD lead and power down the laptop/PC
Boot up again and then reinstall 3.3.2.105
Then (and only then) plug the OBD cable back into the USB port

after several uninstalls/re-installs, everything checks out fine but it only connects briefly and then loses connection

have tried different baud rates etc but no luck - had enough of it now and will return it to the vendor for a refund

tks again for assisting in this regard
