Nitron shock fitment ?
« on: August 08, 2017, 10:35:03 PM »
Just fitted a NITRON R1 to my 2013 tiger 800.one thing I did spot and was not happy with, you may want to check yours. Is the bottom bolt that hold the shock, in my opinion was way to short to be safe with the new shock ,by about 5mm. I put the nut on and did it up and it only just touched the end of the nut. There was no way I was going to leave it with the Oem bolt. Lucky I had another one that was 5mm longer. So with nut fully done up about 4mm sticks out and the locking nut is secure. The Oem one was to short to be secure. Has anyone come across this when fitting a nitron shock.
Stand behind our troops,if not feel free to stand in front of them
