Luggage for 2018 Xca
« on: March 14, 2018, 07:59:35 AM »
Anyone know when Givi, Kappa or SW Motech will be launching luggage for the 2018 model?

All I see is - 2017. Are the fittings the same?

I have a top box mount that I could re-drill to the new centres but a pukka plate would be better. Also, I prefer the removeable pannier rails Givi do and their panniers to Triumph kit so that is my preferred option if and when they are available.

Thanks all.

I suspect all the luggage for the 2017 will still fit the 2018 bikes, doesn't look if there's been any mods to the frames etc..

My neighbour has an engineering workshop so he's drilling and countersinking some new holes in the Givi top box plate I had on my Tex. As far as I can see from the Givi site the only difference between the 800 plate and the Tex one is the hole size and spacing.

Worst case scenario is I have some extra holes in a Tex plate. That'll save 100 for a new plate :002:

'

Givi don't know yet.

Triumph say no frame changes but I still wonder about any detail changes on things like footpeg hangers, Guess I'll have to take my bike to a dealer to compare detail against a 16/17 bike

My Chester dealership told me that they have already swapped over Triumph luggage from <2017 to the 2018 models. Locks are 30 apparently.

If I can help it I don't really want Triumph luggage with all the pivoting gear.

Has any forum member swapped Givi luggage 2017 - 2018?

Thanks

I have SW Motech trax adventure 45/37 with a 52L Givi trekker & a SW Motech city bag. The bag is perched on me box in the pic.
