Jim at Bikerz will do a dyno rolling road remap for you, he does a lot of race prep at amateur level, not far at Stoke-on-Trent and a good bloke with lots of experience.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, you've only made me more unsure of what to do!   Fuel consumption doesn't bother me, the bike is purely for fun, but I don't want to throw money at it if I'm not going to see any different in performance.  Outright HP gain is not really the goal, but a more lively & linear power delivery.

Try a couple of differents maps and see which you like?
It's a simple enough process to change them
Tinkering is what happens when you try something you dont quite know how to do, guided by whim, imagination, and curiosity.

Maybe, if you've got the kit & knowhow.

Run with the stock map, see how it goes...
If you do decide to try the arrow map, and assuming its not you uploading the map, then get a price to reload the original map BEFORE uploading the arrow.
I found that all the arrow map did was dramatically increase fuel consumption. Granted that may be more a reflection of my riding and or lack of sensitivity  :017: but the only noticable difference I saw with the Arrow Map was fuel consumption dropping to the low 40's.
