I just fitted an MRA X-Creen Sport, fits a treat via the clamps (I don't want to drill) and so far a noticeable improvement, will keep testing to find optimum setting...

That too looks a really good idea.  That pretty much turns the stock screen into the MRA screen I had previously.  I also like the idea of being able to keep the winglets that come with the new bike.

Hi, just collected my new xrt on Sunday. Riding it home from Chester on a lovely still day the buffeting was dreadful - how are you getting on with the MRA x-creen and where did you buy it from please? Any issues fitting it?
Kind regards

David

I've not bought one yet but I mentioned it to some people I know outside of this forum and they agreed it was good way to go.  If you look at it you can see if transforms a 'standard' screen into one that looks like the full MRA with spoiler.

I agree that the screen on the 2018 Tiger is terrible, but not as bad as the OEM screen on the oil-cooled BMW R1200 GS.
I bought a Givi Airflow for the GS, and I was able to ride at 70 MPH + with my helmet visor up - the Airflow was that good.
I'd buy a Givi Airflow for the Tiger in a heartbeat if they made one.
In the end, I bought an MRA Vario-Touring VSA Type C Universal Adjustable Spoiler:

I had to adjust the spoiler to get the best effect, and nearly vertical works best for me.
It's not in the same league as the Airflow, but does a reasonable job of keeping the wind blast from my helmet.

Yep, but Givi makes this for the earlier models:

It's on my wish list.
BTW, I needed the top (moveable) part of the screen half way down on my BMW for maximum benefit.

Just got back from 2300 miles arpund beautiful Scotland and the MRA X Creen Sport did the trick to eliminate the buffeting.  I am 5'7" and ride with the screen on lowest settings BTW.
