There's a white factory fitted connector under the back seat of my 2017 Tiger XCA - and its for a battery optimiser.

Sorry, don't know. But my old 'Optimate 4' plugs straight into it. Works a treat. I've also made up a cable with the same connector to charge my phone.

Ive finally found the connector type: its a Sumitomo MT 090 6 way connector.

Spare male connector and pins are on order then its a bit of jiggerypokey to connect up the satnav.

For anyone else looking for switched live to power their fuse locks, this would be an easy place to connect to without cutting into the wiring loom or faffing around with the tail light plugs.

I would still be interested to determine Triumphs intended use of the white connector block! :187:

Finally finished connecting it all up today. Switched live for the satnav and the audio output plugs into a Sena SR10 under the sea5 to run in parallel with the bike to bike radio.

Well happy.

I was going to ask exactly the same question, when I noticed that someone had already posted it.
And it's great to know that I wanted to use the plug for my sat nav wiring too.
Therefore, thanks to the OP and all those who replied.

Ummm, I don't quite understand this.
I've just opened up both parts of the white connector, and the wired up connector is MALE.
Therefore, all I need to buy is some FEMALE pins and wire seals.
The seals and female pins just need to be connected to the sat nav wires, and pushed into the existing connector (the one with the six black blanking plugs).
Or am I missing something?
