Hi Everyone,

Well, thought I was being smart and saving a few quid buy taking my rear wheel to a tyre fitter, getting a new tyre and then refitting the wheel myself. Appears I might have done something wrong!

The ABS light now wont stop flashing and a few hundred meters down the road the ABS, TC and IML lights are all permanently on.

Not sure what's happened as I don't think I touched the ABS sensor and have refitted the wheel as per muddysump's instructions, albeit the chain adjuster blocks appear to be the same width top and bottom now as opposed to his bike.

Any help much appreciated.
John

It may well clear after 3 heat cycles or you can plug a PC into it and clear the DTCs

did you remove the ABS sensor before taking the wheel out?

Running it from cold to hot
Or just 3 rides really

If the system doesn't see the problem for 3 heat cycles, it just resets the error indication

OK, thanks, I'll give that a go. Any idea what could have caused the error?

Not necessarily but I do so as to prevent any chance of damaging it when removing or refitting the wheel.

I would suggest that pulling it for a quick inspection to ensure the tip hasn't been knocked off or damaged would be the quickest way to rule out the most likey cause of the issue.

Thanks. That sounds like a good idea, I'll look for damage. So, it's supposed to have a removable tip?

The tip itself isn't removable, but it protrudes through the hole to be very close to the ring of slots on the disc.  it makes it very vulnerable especially when refitting the wheel, same applies for the front wheel.
