I removed the ABS sensor and no obvious sign of damage. Looks like it lines up OK with the ring. Does this look OK? I've nothing to compare it against!

Did you check the error DTCs? That would at least let you know the cause of the ABS light coming on.

As you've got an XRX you should be able to check for DTCs by holding the 'up' and 'info' buttons pressed while turning on the ignition. The codes should be displayed on the dash.

On the surface (so to speak) ... looks OK from here  :027:  Hard to tell TBH.

Have you hooked up your bike to a laptop and checked for ant error codes ....?  Would be the best way to check what's up, then check any codes against the WSM etc ...

Did you check & set the Air Gap when you refitted your wheel as per the handbook and/or WSM?

Thanks very much, I'll do that and report back.

That's really helpful, thanks. Didn't realise that was a requirement. I've spun the back wheel and there appears to be a tiny distortion in the ABS ring, perhaps ever so slightly bent, hard to tell, might be, maybe not. I'll check the error codes.

Hopefully the ABS Pulsar Ring is not Bent/Damaged as a new one will set you back over 190 on it's own! And yes they are easily 'knocked/damaged' by half-arsed handling etc ...  :138:

Best of luck with the Code checking. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks and YIKES!

Fault codes PO500 and P1521
(Got those by holding/info and turning ignition on)

Found the codes..
P1521 Lost communication with ABS
P0500 Vehicle speed sensor malfunction

Not sure this helps!

Maybe I need to take the bike for a run for it to show any ABS Diagnostic Trouble Codes?
