Handy. Have you used before?
Service any good?
Worth the money to save travel further south?
What part of Scotland are you in?

Used the Newcastle - Ijmuiden ferry most years for the past 9 / 10 yrs, from Falkirk and it's only a 3 hr 150ml run to the ferry.
It can be expensive (some would say) but I like the ferry part of the journey, get onboard , into cabin , change and a beer in hand before you leave. Gets in at 09:45 , usually on the road by 10:15 and a days run down the motorways gets you a good distance into your trip. (last couple of years I've been over nighting in Epinal )
I'd rather do the miles in Europe rather than GB, quieter roads, not so many cameras.
