Hmm...... Seems very much to be bike related. I got 3500miles out of the rear on my 1190 Adventure  :164:

I put a pair on my Tiger at 10,500 miles, and they are a very good tyre, great handing wet or dry, but now at 15,000 miles it has started to square off and has noticeable "tramlining" as they say.
I do nearly all my riding two up and i'm looking to change the rear for up coming trips to Scotland and France, though the bike will be transported in my van. I could probably get another 2,000 miles out of it but really don't like the way it's going. I will be fitting another, they are great tyres.
Tiger 800. There's no effing need for it.

Initial thoughts :-
First proper ride approx 100 miles
Very different stearing to my last tyres anakee 2 / tourance orig
Taking a bit of getting used to
At higer speeds they are a lot more confident inspiring and feel really sticky
After initial turn in the tires really want to lie down quickly
At lower speeds < 30 mph the steering feels a bit twitchy due to the fast turn in
Will be on commuting duties on Monday , so will see how they do
Sure I will get used to them

1 week done 700 miles on the Trailriders
300 miles commuting and 400 miles round Welsh roads in torrential rain
The Trailriders are really grippy in both the rain and wet , really impressed grip wise
However have used 1mm off rear tyre already ( front is still as new ) , so jury is out regarding tyre life
