2015 xcx side stand spring fix
« on: June 23, 2018, 08:07:42 AM »
The stock side stand spring is just weak enough that sooner or later it's going to flip up to easy and down it goes. I saw some posts about the 1200 side stand  spring is a fix . Being My BMW 16 r1200rs is right next to my Triumph and my BMW dealer is very close . The BMW uses 2 springs and a triangler bracket. I just took 1 spring and the bracket and fit it on the Triumph and it got just the right amount of tension .total cost 13 $ ( The bmw side stand is very strong design of high technology ) Much stronger then the Triumph, But the Triumph does not cost 20k either  :031:

So does this BMW spring solve the Triumph side stand problem?  If so can you please provide BMW part numbers.

Cheers
