I have recently installed the Givi plate to my 2018 XCA and used the marks on the underside of the plastic cover.  However, I found that one of the holes was slightly off centre with the plate, not my drilling error I hasten to add!  So be mindful they may not line up 100%, best to use a template.

Bladerunner after you drilled the holes in the black plastic cover on your 2018 XCA which holes in the rear sub frame did you use to bolt the Givi plate to.
Ive got a 2018 XRT and if I drill the black plastic cover I cant see any bolt holes to use to bolt my Givi plate to. I would have thought that the rear sub frames would have been the same on both the 2018 XCA and 2018 XRT. I cant find anywhere to bolt my Givi plate to except the 4 grab rail threaded holes which dont line up if I were to drill the black plastic cover.
These are the 4 holes that the bolts use to bolt the black plastic cover into position.
OK my Givi plate is an old one from off my previous 2013 XC which I have redrilled to utilise the 4 grab rail bolt holes and are a different pattern, much closer together.
Is your XCA the latest model with the TFT instrument panel.
Hope this rambling makes sense :187:

Does this help - I am looking to order this plate SRA6401, when my bike arrives next week  - looks like there are two brackets and spacers that come with the kit but as I have not got the bike or plate yet don't take it for gospel   :001: Givi web site says it's the right one for my 2018 xrt.

[i Made my own plate to take a Givi mount, without drilling the plastic cover
Removed the 4 existing bolts, used 20mm bolt sleeves, made up a pair
Of metal straps to go between the holes, then just bolted the straps
down with 4 longer bolts ,  marked through Givi mount for the new fixing holes in straps and job done, works a treat - saved s.     :028:

Anyone else had a problem fitting the Givi SRA6401 plate to a 2018 XCA? Got to the fitting of plates 1 and after fitting bolt 3 found that bolt 5 was about 10mm out ie the plate appeared to be too short. Contacted supplier and they are investigating but the Givi website clearly states thats the correct plate for my year and model.

I have an 2018 XRT and the fit was perfect - see attached (everything was loose when I took the first photo - tightened everything at the end once lined up)
