Accomodation
« on: July 11, 2018, 02:27:24 PM »
So having completed some of the recce, still more to be done. if only the weather looked good enough to go riding...

I looked at the Swallow Falls Hotel, room availability isn't good, it might have required some to book a bunk room(s). Also hadn't appreciated quite how far it is from the throbbing heart of downtown metropolitan Betws-y-Coed.

Anyways enough. I have booked a twin bed in the 'Fairhaven Hotel'. I think they have 4 or 5 double bedrooms left as of 12:30 today.
Fairhaven hotel is 01690 7103078.  The owner doesn't expect there to be a mad rush on her rooms so I have not booked anything on behalf of any others. its a minimeet, sort out your own accomodation  :017:

There's plenty of other options out there, ranging from B&B to hotel (or even bunk rooms at the Swallow Falls ;)

If anyone cares to share a twin room with me thats fine, let me know

I will try and scope out a pub where we can met up on the Friday or Saturday night.

Tinkering is what happens when you try something you dont quite know how to do, guided by whim, imagination, and curiosity.

What's the plan on overnight parking?

I was wondering, with your ecumenical connections whether in, or around St Mary's could be an option, or the King's Head public car park ?
