Givi pannier frames
« on: July 18, 2018, 08:07:41 AM »
Can anybody tell me if the Givi panniers frames from a 2015 Tiger 800 will fit the 2018 Tiger 800. Ive heard Givi have released a new set of frames PLR 6413 for the 2018 model but they are not available yet in uk

Yes they do.  I have a set of the current Givi frames and outback trekker panniers fitted on my 2018 XCX.  There are no changes to the tiger 800 frame that I can see.

Only thing to be mindful of is that the silencer on the 2018 bike is considerably narrower than previous years, meaning there is a small gap between pannier frame and silencer.  I assume that is the reason Givi are releasing an updated item.

The PLR6409 frames went straight onto my 2018 Xca

There is a gap between the frames and the rails but that's not an issue.
