Apparently these tires fit the tiger 800 roadie. Anyone try them yet? Apparently they scored very high in some tests ...

Can't comment on Road Attack 3.  I have an XC and use Trail Attack 2 tires.  They are my very favorite.

I found the trail attack 2 seemed the same sort of performance as the road attack, you just got more tread depth

Let's face it, they'll be very good.
Us mere mortals will never find the limit of premium tyres

True, but even us mere mortals can comment on how they make the bike feel, how they steer, the longevity, wether they cup ... :)

I got some for my KTM

First ride out today on a new set of Conti RA3s - it was 50/50 wet and dry
I usually default to Michelin PRx but couldn't get any

They feel totally neutral, very difficult to describe the feel, they just did it - end of.
The Scorps they replaced were good in the dry and OK in the wet but needed more input to change direction with.

Very happy with the Contis and I'll see how they get on as they wear

The Conti Trail Attack II's can be bought at very nice prices here stateside. Narrowed it down to either those or the new Bridgestone A41's. Both tires will exceed my ability, but not against spending a bit more for better longevity. I'll be watching for rebates  :001:

The road attack 3's apparently have greatly improved wet grip over their predecessors ...

I fitted the original Conti Raid Attack on my Speed Four when they first came out. In the dry they were brilliant. In the wet they were down right dangerous. The main instructor with the the IAM group I trained with had been given a pair to try out and he said the same.
If the instructors don't rate em then I'm glad it wasn't just me.
Put me off using Continental tyres ever again.
