Union Bridge west of Berwick on Tweed is worth a look. Bus cafe very near sells great cake to go with a cuppa!

The White Hart in the Grassmarket is where Burke and Hare plied they're grisly trade - also check out Deacon Brodies on the royal mile. Watch the tennants beer though it sneaks up on you!! Hit the pubs on Rose street if you like whisky (hate the stuff myself)
