I've had the bike 6 weeks, due to work had not had time to ride other than freeway commuting. Today rode 130k with 4k elevation change (twice) on paved & gravel roads in 3 hours.  What a fabulous bike. I thought I was going to miss my GS & GT bikes but now I'm sure I won't. The lower, than my GS, 1st & 2nd gearing of the Tiger were perfect for steep twisty mountain gravel roads & the paved mountain roads are easily ridden 30 up to 100 kph with minimal shifting due to the really wide torque band.  On some deep gravel off camber roads I was much more comfortable than I would have been on my GS. Glad I bought this bike, no looking back (well, except for the wind screen...now I get to buy a better screen!)
cheers!
