They're very handy and the least obtrusive way of fitting a tank bag, other than having a magnetic bag, that I've encountered.

That's a good point. May check out the bag, see it's a better option than the Triumph one.

I use my Givi Tanklock bag a lot. So easy to fit and take off and no damage to the paintwork. Very clever bit of kit.

More and more I'm thinking this maybe a better set up.  Maybe take the holder off (and store safely) until it's needed.

As above, you will need the the proper screws. Leave it on! Place to put ear plugs!!
