Diagnostic
« on: August 13, 2018, 04:30:44 PM »
Lads,
I have dealertool and I find it a good product , after the little bit of bother at startup. I'm thinking of getting another tool to get more of a complete service/maintenance. Don't quite know which one to go for?, some are free some you have to purchase.Any advice appreciated.

Are there features that you are looking for that aren't part of TigerTool or DealerTool? There is a lot of detailed information on this site for those two applications. The application that the Triumph dealer uses can access more information but is quite expensive.

There's TigerTool, Dealertool and Tuneecu (Not for post 15)
Dealertool has no real advantage over Tigertool and costs
Tuneecu, if you can use it - as in pre 15, allows fiddling on a grand scale.  I have only turned off the O2 sensor and lowered the fan on temperature (from 103 to 99)

KildareMan! When you say, TuneECU if you can use it ? Do you mean you need to be very competent on computers. I would like to be able  to change some settings, like you did yourself?

You need to be pre 15 model, or 1st generation. After that the ECU is locked.

Just put one word Tigertool in the search box and you would have got the answer.
