Yup ... Totally aware of that. Far more frontal crashes than rear enders ...

Fowlers was a bit more expensive than World of Triumph ($40). Will either buy new stateside or possibly try to deal with the used one. This was originally going to be my Wisconsin winter project ( https://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/climate-weather/blogs/winter-coming-and-its-going-be-awful-warns-farmers-almanac ), but got a bit antsier since I have the rear wheel. Hell, Bridgestone has a $30 rebate per tire till Oct 18, so might have to spend some $$ on pair of A41's. Fun fun

Hi Troop,
I have just sent you a Pm regarding the conversion as I am just about to try out the same conversion so we can share/compare notes, good luck with it.

You're lucky. From a 2015-2017 XR ? Plenty of < 2014 XR wheels, but not 2015-2017. I did get a like new rear wheel off a 2017 XRt for $265 (USD)/shipped. Not so lucky on the front :(

I think it is from before 2015. Pretty good deal anyway. What is the difference after 2015? Color? Mine is dark grey. All black would be nice. If I like the conversion maybe I will have them repainted

Reviving an older post, I've been looking at the cast wheel conversion for my 2017 XCX. Could someone tell me from what year will the wheels fit, I'm not sure if the non abs model wheels will work if I could swap parts over.
Thanks

Not sure about non ABS, but I know that
:
1.) 2014 < are different wheel color
2.) 2015-2017 wheels all match up/have same color and spoke pattern. Thinking wheel from non ABS XR would work.
3.) 2018 > wheels have a different spoke pattern.

Thanks troop, now I've just got to find some. The rear is no problem but the front is very scarce, I suppose that the one that gets damaged in an accident.
