Rev'it Gravel Outdry Waterproof WP Touring Motorcycle BOOTS
« on: September 24, 2018, 12:31:37 PM »

Just bought a pair of Rev'it Gravel Boots  , as discounted down to 99 from around 199 new on EBay

Cant find any links on here if any of you  guys own these also ?  , although were only  launched in 2016 - and I think superceded already

My first impressions are what a fantastic quality  built boot  - including a chunky Vibram sole -  that's why I went for these & fully waterproof

Sizing spot on for an 8 ( 42 )  as well.

So its a day off work tomorrow for a test out  in the Lakes

Time will tell how these stand up also   :064:

Well that's 100 miles done in the boots today to Keswick via Kirkstone Pass,  and all good. Took a while to get used to the different position and gear change - as much stiffer and wider toe box - grippy sole too on the Tiger Rubber pegs. So big improvement over my old Alpinestars SMX.
Did not test waterproof ability as remarkably dry here in the Lakes today !

So odum666 that's 2 Very positive reviews so far  - so well worth a look if you after some 4 season boots  :064:

Can't find them on eBay at that price. Do you have a link?
Thanks

Just checked  alunr - and none left with that seller  . Not surprised at that price ! . Cheapest I can see now for the Gravel Boot is  119 + postage on Ebay. Might be worth a wider search inc Amazon etc .

These below  are very similar & the Sole looks to be identical  & fully waterproof - and the best bit cheaper still . Revit is always excellent quality kit - but maybe someone who has these can give you a recommendation  ?

Good price but the sellers feedback isn't wonderful.

Going on my fellow Cumbrian's review I've gone and purchased some of these tonight at the 119 price. Everywhere else is 180+. I did watch the Revzilla You Tube review as well and you do get a lot of boot for your money. I was hoping my Gaerne MotoX/Enduro boots would still be OK after all these years, nope, the leather is still good but the plastic bits have perished and just too stiff and bulky. Roll on delivery as i'm a bit stuck until then :(
Mid life crisis? Nah just the usual lifelong one :)

Swear by Vibram soles - Just replaced my  Lowa fell walking boots after 15 years of all season use - soles fines ,  boots finally split .
So now also have some shiny new  Berghaus - with Vibram sole of course ! :020:
