Pre load On my 2013 Xr ,manual says 30 clicks ant-clockwise (normal riding,)can't feel any clicks! w D ,no good, is currently on 4 turns, my weight 87k, thanks in advance.

Hi Dick,
I don't feel the clicks (every half turn) unless I turn it slowly. I can hear them if the background noise is low and I am close to the adjuster. I have mine adjusted to 20 clicks anti-clockwise (ten turns) for solo riding and find it better than 30 clicks, and then turn it back to 10 clicks for when I am loaded up solo.
I bought one of the Pre Load Adjuster handles a couple of years ago and it makes life so much easier than messing about with a screwdriver or socket drive.

It's a crap design.
However, just ignore the turns/clicks in the handbook and set the sag to suit your weight and preference.
You can then record where it's set for future quick adjustments

I bought from a member on here, Paulvfr, who gets them made to his spec. They are good quality, quite easy to fit and makes life much easier.
