Just had a glorious week riding around the Pico's - I'm sure many members will recognise these areas. Just motorcycle Heaven !!

Great piccs, looks beautiful, i'm going to try touring for the first time next year down to Italy with the Mrs. Might reshuffle the planned route to take in the Pico's - looks like a nice place to travel through.

It great,  10 miles after getting off the ferry at Santander you in the Picos mountains.
For great routes go to Ride magazine site.
Word of advise of you thinking about going via Santander or Bilboa book up now cos the ferries fill up early.
I booked up already for next May

Kempy  - If you can, I would say definitely go. it's not just the scenery and the twisty roads and hairpins - there are no cars !! it is almost sad when you get back in the UK at Portsmouth into 3 lanes of traffic, you immediately get withdrawal symptons ..lol   - yes the ferries get really booked up in advance as it is so popular with bikes.
