It is another one i was considering, but finding it locally for myself has been an issue. Price wise it is very similar to the Karoo 3 pricing on my side of the pond.

I am itching to change out the factory tires so i can head off road. The reviews i have seen of the Karoo 3's look pretty decent. Seeing as they were the only 50/50 shown on the Triumph compatible tire list i was going to give them a try. The only hang up i have is they appear to be only available in the tubeless version. So is Triumph recommending running tubes in a tubeless tire? I have emailed them about it and have no received a reply yet. My backup would be K60's, but they were a little bit disappointing on my last bike.

Most tyres nowadays are tubeless, you can run tubes in them.

Hi! Tried MotoZ Tractionator GPS (longest name in tyres) during my trip to Senegal on the 1200.

Really good tyres, much better than K60, imo. Only complain is about sound, louder at 100 km/h. It's a great 50/50 tyre, good in road, sucks in rain, and let you have some fun while off road.

Seems to be eternal, as are like new after 7000km.

Had a broken wheel and I rode about 1000km with absolutly no pressure... And the tyre got me home with no deformation. Incredible...

I'd go with these, they are imo, adequate for dirty tarmac lanes, the type you'd find around farms, or forest fire roads. No use for much worse.

Continental Twinduro TKC80 Dual-Sport

I am currently using Dunlop Geomax on my Traillie, they're good for off-road but you'd rip them up at high speed, not had a problem up to 70'ish.

I have been using MotoZ Tractionator GPS on the rear and the MotoZ Adventure on the front, very happy and very long lasting, the rear GPS has 12 mm of tread noew and after 6000 km I have only used 4.5 mm of tread.....and this is mostly on road commuting.

After spending wayyyyy to much time looking over tire reviews i settled on Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires. They look like they will satisfy both my on road and off road needs if they perform as well as other users have reported. I will post my feedback on them once i get them on the bike and some miles on them!
