Well with the new trade deal between EU and Japan prices are estimated to drop by around 10% or so. But if you're not in you can't win as they say.

It's looking like a no deal between the UK and the EU which is by all economic forecasters bad for the UK economy and UK taxpayers.

Bad for us buyers as we won't (relatively) have as much spare cash as we would of had and bad for the manufacturers as they will have to put their prices up.

Please don't shoot the messenger as I certainly don't want to discuss politics on here but this is the forecasts from leading UK businesses and the Bank of England.

Brexit is for me , more about ruling ourselves again, not being ruled by unelected foreign beaurocrats who cannot be voted out.. Over and out..

The same people who forecast Armageddon the next day if we voted out?

The manufacturers will find a way to satisfy the UK market as it is way too big for them to ignore

Although the short term future looks less than rosy for dealerships I am seriously considering contacting Triumph to see if they have plans of replacing Hughendon with a new dealership in Oxfordshire as I'm a salesman and would love to put my skills to use selling motorbikes.

I can tell you the answer to that one, basically they want a dealership north west of Oxford, possibly around the Cumnor area.

Don't forget that it would be similar to a franchise arrangement so you'll need around a 1M to get going. And that's not a figure pulled out of thin air as you literally would need those sort of numbers to get something off the ground that meets their spec.

That makes sense as in that area you have big Honda, BMW, Harley etc dealerships.

As for the 1 million that counts me out plus living in Australia makes it to far to commute

I was thinking more of working for the dealership rather than running one. I wrongly assumed Triumph ran the dealerships and employed the staff.
