Unifilter prefilter in the rain
« on: November 15, 2018, 10:04:32 AM »
I have a Unifilter but it looks like it would get wet in the rain. Is this a problem? 16 XRx.

Thanks

Al

It is in the same compartment at the battery, the fuses and the original air filter snorkel. If that compartment gets wet you will have more problems than worrying about the filter.
It is also effectively up hill from where the Unifilter sits to where the OEM air filter breathes so any water that happens to get on the Unifilter will fall to the bottom of the electrical compartment rather than going up to the OEM air filter.
