Time for a change.....
« on: December 15, 2018, 09:15:45 AM »
Hi all,

I've joined here as I've just taken early retirement and, now having loads of free time, I need to swap my Bonnie for something more touring orientated.

I took out a demo 800 a couple of months ago but wanted to consider all options before making a decision.
But when all was said and done, the 800 fitted all my requirements, weight, power, tank range etc etc
(The only issue I found was turbulence from the screen in all positions, but I'm sure I can sort that out fairly quickly.)
So my Bonnie Newchurch is now up for sale  :019:
And a new XRt was ordered last week  :001:
Now planning trips for when the weather warms up a tad......

cheers

Hi &  :401: I had a 2015 XRx which had terrible buffeting from the screen, cured it by fitting a Madstad, just changed the XRx for a new XRt with the new adjustable screen based I would say with the Madstad principle and it is very good, and not worth the bother and expense of changing it.

Enjoy  :417: :152: :031:

Welcome TC, I'm sure you won't regret your new purchase as the 2018 XRT is a great bike.

There are a few options on replacement screens if you can't live with the factory fitted one on any of its settings.
