Man down - RIP Greg
« on: December 28, 2018, 01:42:12 AM »
As some of you may have already read on Facebook, it's with great sadness that I have to report the passing of fellow forum member and great friend Greg, who lost his battle with leukaemia on Wednesday.

Due largely to ill health, Greg's been less active on the forum during 2018 and was unable to attend the Mega or Mini-Meets this year. Greg & I became friends right from our first rideout and we've ridden many 1000s of miles together over all terrains and in all weathers. Greg has been the driving force in countless SW rideouts over the past 7 or more years, as well as some very memorable European trips. Together we also hosted the 2014 Tiger MegaMeet in Torquay, and several Triumph RAT runs around Devon & Cornwall.

He will be sadly missed and my thoughts at this difficult time are with Greg's family.

So long Greg, you'll be missed. Full of enthusiasm, a passion for life.

Now as to his compatriots in crime Terry and Rufus, they are not going to be missed (unless you run a pasty stall, fish & chip shop or pub).

A sad day indeed, RIP fella

Very sad news. He was good value on the MegaMeets and clearly a force to be reckoned with in the Southwest.
RIP Greg.

I did not know him personally, but it is always sad to hear of someone passing, especially after enduring such a battle.

My thoughts are with the family.
