When i had my 2012 tiger 800 i had a critair2 yellow sticker issued, might have changed but the sticker is issued according to the immisions of the bike, which is determined by the entries on youre log book, they issue according to the information on it and verify it by the scaned doc. You send in at the time of application, use the official critaire site https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/  after applying takes  under two weeks to recieve it cheers vince

Not that I'm condoning speeding but, on my last visit to France, the new limits were generally being ignored on the smaller country roads and no enforcement. just keep it down when in the villages as usual.

One thing I noticed when I went to France in September, compared to the previous year, was a lot more speed cameras!  :033:
Might have to try Spain next time.....

At the start  of last year the   Crit'Air Certificate was only required in  a few major Cities in France ,  for example, Lyon, Paris ect, to enforce emissions control on ALL vehicle classes,   but was known to be adopted , eventually , widely across  France.     After applying for mine on-line  ( 2018 Tiger 800 )  I  received it within 7 days .
I fixed mine to the Bike using the `old' style UK  type Licence holder, which are still available online, don't risk just sticking on the screen , you may loose it .     The Certificate stays with the Bike for `Life' even when sold on.   Only use the genuine French Government Site,  as there are other online `Sites'  charging 20 euros plus !!!   :156:  instead of just under 4e.     Touring   - don't risk a Fine -  See below French Government Link for application and details.

Just keep mine in my tank bag. Tax holders are ugly if visible.

I'm certainly not sticking the thing to my bike.
