I can see them at 99 but not 65? Where did you get them from?

They're on Ebay even cheaper than that. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Steelmate-DIY-TPMS-Motorcycle-Motor-Tire-Pressure-Monitor-System-2-Sensor-D3F1/132845615553

For even less than that, you can get one that doesn't need wiring in, just charges through USB (the charge lasts for ages). Cheapest UK seller is https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M3TL-Motorcycle-TPMS-Tire-Tyre-Temp-Pressure-Monitor-System-2-Sensor-Waterproof/312575577799. I've got this on my Scrambler and it's as accurate as the Steelmate (which seems to be spot on, according to any other tyre gauges I apply to it).

I bought them from Ebay. Must have been 18 months - 2 years as they were on the Trophy before.  :169:

I wouldn't bother with them to be fair.

The only time mine came on it was an error and I ended up getting them replaced under warranty.

Also unless you hack into them, you can't replace the batteries, so need new ones every few years.

Experiences will of course vary and each of us make the decision that suits us.

Personally I'd never be without them as they've saved me several times on my Explorer with early warning of a puncture. On one occasion the system gave me the vital seconds needed to make a safe stop on fast sweeping country lanes after the rear tyre got slashed by some farm debris on the road.

I've had them on my bikes and cars for the last 7 or 8 years without too much issue.
Maybe 2 or 3 false positives on a car, none on the bike.

I've never had a situation of a pressure or temp warning on a bike but I've had one instance in a car (at speed) that warned me in good time of a damaged tyre

They work well for me  :046: and you can use the tool to unscrew the cap to replace the battery. Been in use 2.5 years on same battery no issues.  :031:
