Hello from Manchester
« on: January 21, 2019, 01:07:47 PM »
Just picked up a 65 plate Tiger 800 xcx to replace my Honda CBF600-N.  Pasted my test in Feb last year and looking to go on some longer adventures on the Tiger.

Anyone else in Manchester and any trails or off road areas to go and explore?

Hiya bud  :401:

I'm in the peaks so not far from Manchester.

Probably the best please regarding lanes etc try Manchester TRF - https://www.trf.org.uk/tag/manchester-trf/

Cheers

Paul

Thanks all!

I've been having a look at TRF and also TET.  I'm keen as mustard to get out and explore!  Looking forward to a bit of warmer weather.  :190:

hey up, I bought a 2014 XC in early October last year and been lurking here since. I'm in Stretford, Manchester - come better weather I would be well up for getting out. Not got anyone local I know that rides currently so more than up for making friends. I passed DAS in September so relatively new to it too.Hopefully planning some longer trips in 2019 too.

Hi Ian,

Ah, brilliant, you're pretty local to me.  I'm in north Manchester so certainly not too far away.  I've got a few friends with motorbikes but none with an adventure-style and i'm really quite keen to get off the black top.  We should keep in touch and get something arranged. Does the forum have planned regional meets, do you know?

Hi Jacko

I'm slightly South Manchester ex-Macc Lad (no, not the band), plenty of lanes round Cheshire and into the Peak District, not really into that side of things, but as others, best bet is to contact the local TRF  :028:
