Clean KN air filter?

How do I clean this filter best way?

Read the instructions that came with the filter.
Laterally unstable unless moving.

If you haven't got the instructions you will need to buy a K&N charger kit. It will include the detergent spray cleaner and the new oil to coat the filter before use.
Tiger 800. There's no effing need for it.

Ditto above, but just setting my own bike up and fitted a oiled pre cleaner sock (highly recommended) which will catch most of the dust... they say like 95% ($30 Aus), can be pulled off from under the seat and replaced in 5mins.
So just clean that pre filter in foam fluid cleaner and re oil and the K&N will be serviceable for years.
Got mine from the stealer.... as recommended by the local tuning guru who has seen plenty of paper filters deteriorate ... not good for longevity.
Fitting my K&N was a PITA when compared to a dirt bike service.... just my 2c worth.
