New Triumph tiger Owner from Australia
« on: February 04, 2019, 11:07:11 AM »
Purchased a second hand 2015 XRX with 30ks on the clock. My very first adventure bike.
I've had it for three weeks and 2000kms now and I'm proud to say that I've dropped it three times and gone through 2 clutch levers already.  :001: :001:
Love the bike

When you leave it parked in neutral on the most minor downhill slope imaginable and it rolls off the stand and breaks the third clutch lever you will know you belong.  :001:

Welcome.

P.S. Maybe Barkbusters would be a good idea.

Hi,
I've been a 'lurker' for some time, as while I have a '93 Steamer (hence the handle), I've kept an eye out for a good-value T800-XC.
A (mad) mate of mine has been reducing his bike-count, and offered 'mates rates' on a 2012 T800XC, with only 16,000 km on it.  Bike is fully-farkled (pics eventually), and I rode it for the first time last Saturday, with the PO and another mate on a Super Tenere.
Just short of 400 k's for the day, including about 25 k's of dirt road - and it rained for the first time in 5 years!  Klim gear really is waterproof!
I'll be along soon with questions.......
Will be looking to reset to standard height, it has the Lust Racing dogbones, only just works on the sidestand, and is impossible to get up onto the centrestand.
And I've already ordered the OBD connector and downloaded the TigerTool App.

Should have done this years ago!!

G'day all from Tassie. Thanks for the ad. Love my Tiger 800. The sound of a Triumph Triple is mind blowing.
