Farkles for my new xcA
« on: February 14, 2019, 12:31:09 AM »
Picked up the new 2018 Tiger 800 xca last week and started to make it my own.
I started with a GPS mount much the same as the "Mike on a bike" mount.

I have a background in fabrication and a little time on my hands as I'm retired. Wait!, hardly any time on my hands.

After the GPS was mounted it was time for the luggage and to light them.

More to come...

Pretty dark in the winter but the lights are for camping. Man do the help.
Especially after a few beverages.........

Ha!, I don't think I have a dime left after all is done. Back in the 90's We were at Laguna Seca for AMA superbike racing and while in town we came out of a pub into the darkness of night. I went to change the screen on my helmet and the side pieces exploded out and into the gutter. I could have used any of these lights to see my way out of this situation but no. No lights, flash light, street light, nothing.
I barrowed some tape from a guy to get back to the motel and returned in the morning to find the missing pieces. I learned a lesson and thought I'd shed some light on it. LOL!

:008: that's true and if you are thinking dealer servicing best start looking around to re-mortgage or take a large bank loan now.  :005:  :038:
