New 2011 800 XR owner
« on: March 09, 2019, 10:00:15 PM »
Hello geezers.

Picked up my 2011 800XR yesterday, had a 85 mile ride home, it was bloody cold and windy so didn't go nuts except for the last few miles by which time I'd got a feel for her.

I'm very pleased so far, I'm pretty sure this will be a long term keeper unless I win the lottery.  I'll have a few questions and queries as time goes on.  I've had loads of bikes by the way, mainly trailie and sports/sports tourers, inc' R1s & blades but trailie types have always give me more pleasure than anything else. (except porn obviously).

I know there's an XRX/XCX and a few other ones but I thought they were mostly either an XR or XC?   (Just had a quick history check, it seems only the 2011 is Tiger 800?  Don't give a monkey's either way but it's a bit confusing).
