Engine noise from around 4300 RPM
« on: March 14, 2019, 07:24:27 PM »
Good evening

I just bought a 2018 XCa with about 2000 miles from a dealer.

I noticed tonight that from about 4300 RPM there is an extra noise, sort of high frequency ticking/whining. I am familiar with the triple whine but this sounds like something more. It is related to engine speed, not wheel speed.

It sounds loud, but I am new to Triumph and it could just be what they sound like. My previous bike was a naked and at that speed youd hear wind noise only, so it may be that I am over sensitive.

Do others hear an increase in engine noise from about that engine speed?
