Trickle charge through Electrical accessory socket?
« on: March 17, 2019, 01:59:11 PM »
Hi all,

Is it possible to trickle charge the battery of my '18 XCx through the "electrical accessory socket"?
(used to do that on a KTM 990 Adv)

Thanks!

I have been doing it for years on all my modern Triumphs.

I've charged all my former triumph models via that socket with an optimate. When that charger eventually packed up I replaced it with a Ctek smart charger. For some reason that doesn't like charging through the accessory socket. Had to fit a tail lead as mentioned here earlier.

I use a Ctek charger, which happily works in either accessory socket (side or top yoke - XRx). It also happily works in the accessory socket I've fitted to my Scrambler.
