Givi SRA6401+PLR6413
« on: March 19, 2019, 05:10:54 PM »
I have a 2018 XRX fitted with the Givi sra6401 top box rack. This is fitted on top of the Triumph plastic cover as per Givi instructions.

I now want to fit the PLR6413 quick realease pannier frames but the Givi instructions seem to show the Triumph plastic cover removed when the two parts are fitted together.

Anyone fitted these and am I correct or is it the instructions that are wrong?

I have the Triumph Quick Release Racks which are made by Givi and I did not have to remove the plastic cover

My quick release pannier frames did require the removal of the triumph plastic cover. This was in order to mount the lugs into which the frame is hooked. Its not a difficult job though. I was lucky that I bought all my givi luggage, plate and frames together. So I had to remove the plastic cover anyway.
Give a man a fish and he'll demand chips, a six pack of stella, 20 fags and a scratch card to go with it. Make him do some work for his fish. He'll aporeciate it more.
