Rear shock replacement
« on: March 23, 2019, 12:46:17 PM »
Please forgive me if this has been covered in the past.

I Have the 2016 Triumph Tiger 800 XR and it's a lovely bike but being the base model the rear shock only has adjustable preload.

My question is can I fit the white Power shock from an XC and would it need to be the same model year.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Can't comment on the XC shock but I put a Nitron shock on my '15 XRx, made a world of difference especially as I had fitted Andreani front cartridges as well. A lot depends on cost I suppose, as Triumph parts are normally quite dear.  :031:

Yes
345.5mm Vs 360.5mm
