Another vote for SW Motech Evo System Once you have the tank ring then the choice of bags is extensive. I have the 5 liter Micro which is perfect for the need you describe. I also have the Engage which is larger with side pockets (7L)  The curve of the bag fits the tank shape perfectly.
They are incredibly easy to attach and remove and carry with you as needed.
Pricey but more than worth the investment.

I have something similar to this.

Had it years, no problem, but then I don't use it continuously.
Just another option.

I like the look of the handlebar bag, do you have any pictures with it fitted to the bike?

Very easy to put on / off the tank..

I second that, I had one on my T800 and then transferred it to my Tiger Sport, it's now found a home on another member's GS  :017:
Now available in "Batman"

But make sure the rain cover is fixed correctly mine flew off in Belgium on the motorway on the way to the Megameet. Still apart from the net pouch in the lid which got slightly through heavy rain the rest stayed dry.

This is an updated version of the one I have had for years, they have removed the built-in window for nav/phone and added the locking system which is a + (I think...)

https://www.givi.co.uk/soft-bags/Tank-Bags/ST605%20TANKLOCKED

I find it very convenient when touring - keep passport, phone, tickets, wallet all together. Unhitches in a moment so you can take it with you (when paying for fuel, etc), and use the strap to carry everything with you when walking around.
