2018-19 led headlights swap XCX/XCA

Hi!!

I like to mount full led headlights from a XCA/XRT to a XCX/XRX model. Do you know if its possible?

There is a replacement LED headlight unit available from China. You can source it directly from Alibaba (just search for Triumph Tiger LED headlight) or a guy called Matt Geggo in the USA or several other companies that sell motorcycle replacement parts.
The unit simply replaces the entire headlight assembly that is currently on the Tiger.

But my question is if volts and amps are the same, XCX are normal H4 lights vs XCA led lights. Im triying to found a workshop manual. On owners manual, the lights fuse is diferent, 10a VS 15a.

I would be surprised if the original 2018 Triumph LED light fits on the earlier models.

This is what I was talking about. It is a straight swap for the OEM light unit.

I trying to swap between last model of triumph. de XCX or XRX only have day led lights, and the XCA or XRT equip full led ligth. Im trying to find out if i can mount XCA full led on XCX model, same year.

I downloaded XCX and XCA workshop manual, the assembly are the same between 2 models, but obviously electric wiring isnt. Halogen ligth are conected by relays, and led light aparently are conected directly to instrument panel, maybe are controled by ECM. I will ask in triumph worshop, maybe they will help me. I dont know if a i conect new led headlight like XCA model, maybe need a software update or something.

The LED headlights on the latest models are controlled via the CAN bus, so won't be a straight-forward swap on a bike with regular halogen lamps controlled via relays.

yep, you are right.

Do you know if its that simple like an on off option on tiger program, like when you install fog lights, or diferent hardware (ECU, CAN BUS, ECM, etc...) ?

Why not replace the stock lamp with an LED lamp?
