Should I update my map (20633) on my XC, 2011?
« on: June 15, 2019, 06:26:55 PM »
Currently on map 20633 on my XC from 2011 with arrow. TuneECU says it is replaced by 21065. Anyone knows about the differences?
Thanks

From my point of view each new map was an improvement on the previous map. Triumph don't have release notes and what you can see in the ECU is only a small portion of the complete package. You should update.

Anything specific to think about when transfering to map that should be done before, after or during the process?

Make sure your device battery is topped up.
Remove headlight fuse to reduce drain.

For me updates have always been painless.  BUT  have a printed version of instructions to hand in case of issues.  There is a kind of recovery from disaster procedure.

Where can I find the instructions? Thanks
