Cheap Bluetooth headset help
« on: June 16, 2019, 07:02:33 PM »
Hi guys, and gals.
On the odd occasion I like to listen to music while riding.
Because of the infrequency, and the fact of being a Yorkshireman, I don't want to pay silly money.

So my request is, do any of you recommended a non main-brand system. I've room in my helmet for slimmish speakers, and although I ride with a tomtom I only need it to connect to my phone.

Cheers.

Tom

Now then,

If it is only for your music, then just buy a set of hard wired helmet speakers, no need for bluetooth, plenty on fleabay.

I used a set for a while, they cost less than 15.00, but ended up with a Sena (the cheapest one without intercom facility but pars to phone and sat nav).

Being half Yorkshire and half Ayrshire, I couldn't bring myself to spend any more.....

Chinese generic headset that gets sold under many brand names works reasonably well

Cheers for all responses.

Elmer-the headsets you refer to don't seem to be loud enough from reading reviews,

Chuck-although reasonably priced, would like actual recommendation from someone who owns one. Is that you.

Phil-tried that already. Very quiet and uncomfortable under my helmet.

Rtwo-similar suggestion to chuck.

As mentioned. Thanks to all.
A year or so back someone recommended just such an item but can I hell as find it.

Keep em coming   :028:
