Afternoon all,

After flirting with the idea of getting one for a few years on a slight whim last week I purchased a 2013 Tiger 800 in blue, a roadie I understand it's referred to as. The bike was a bit of a gamble as it was a 280 mile round trip on Saturday to collect it but the 3.5hr ride back gave me an excellent opportunity to familiarise myself with it, and also establish the tyres Pirelli Scorpions fitted are rubbish in the wet!  :151:

The bike's been well maintained but I've been going over it in detail and tinkering, I've already used this forum extensively looking up things so thought i should register and be sociable!

Apologies in advance as i'm no doubt going to be asking a few questions shorty as I start to go over the bike in more detail.

Hi and :401:

Definitely time to ditch the Scorpions .... they must be old, haven't heard them being mentioned here for quite a long time, they were mainly (AIUI) a generation 1 Tiger fitment.
Also owned my 1979 Bonnie T140E from new!

We don't stop playing because we grow old .. WE GROW OLD BECAUSE WE STOP PLAYING!!!
